The trip starting of with the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park  rich in major game such as elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo, leopard etc and fascinating tracking of elusive chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and of  Gorrila in Bwindi.


DAY 0: Kampala: (Optional-extra cost). Arrive Kampala and be drop in your hotel. If there is enough time you have an excursion of Kampala to explore Kabaka kings sites. Others interesting sites to visit are Uganda museum and Bahai temple not forgetting the Namugongo Martyrs shrine, known for the death of 22 Christian convicts killed under King Kabaka of Buganda in Mwanga in 1886.

DAY 1: Kabale National park: Depart Kampala after breakfast and drive through lush green habitats sandwiched by swamps and thick bushes en route to Kibale National Park a vantage point to view Mt. Ruwenzori. Also to opportunities to pay a visit to Fort portal to see Kings Royal tombs and sample up the Toro culture of Burungu community. Overnight at Ndali Lodge overlooking “Mountains of the Moon”, Ruwenzori.

DAY 2: Kabale/Queen Elizabeth Park: Kibale is one of those site best destination to
view chimps due to its thick rainforest with lush towering canopies. Therefore, we start or day with a morning trek to spot chimpanzees. Later depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take a sightseeing and boat ride on Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edward and George. Overnight at Mweya Lodge

DAY 3: Queen Elizabeth-Kabale: Start an early morning with an game with chances seeing all the major game elephant unique animals ike giant forest hog and hundreds of species. Other attractions are Bat Caves and the cultural Maramagambo forest. Later drive to Kabale via Ishasha a a remarkable terraced landscape.Overnight at Habuharo Heritage Lodge.

DAY 4-10: Kabale and the Batwa people (the Pygmies): This day we set up for our volunteer work of helping the Batwa people (Pygmies or the Busmen). They are people who were the oldest recorded inhabitants of the Great Lakes region of central Africa. Current populations are found in the nations of Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda and the eastern Congo. In 2000, they numbered approximately 80,000 people, making them significant minority groups. They were hunters and caterers but were relocated from the Kigezi forest where they have ancestral home and are now having a hard time coping with the new lifestyle of farming and building houses.

Our stay here is to help build houses in their new home away from the forest of Kigezi.
It offer opportunity to interact with these remarkable people and learn their way of life. They have rich culture some consider primitive. Overnight at Habuharo Heritage Lodge

Day 11: Kabale- Bwindi :– The hotel on boat and connect with a car to Bwindi National Park, the impenetrable rain forest with lunch stop en route.     Later take an evening nature walk to Munyaga Waterfall for opportunities to spot unique primates that includes Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Blue monkeys among others. Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 12: Bwindi – Gorilla Tracking:- Have breakfast before reporting to Uganda Wildlife headquarters at the camp for briefing and proceed with Gorilla tracking led by the Park guide who is conversant with the area terrain, lifestyle of the
Gorillas, flora and other wildlife attractions. There is also opportunities to spot endemic bird species like the African GreenBroadbill, Bar –tailed Tracon etc. We gear up with necessary gears and packed lunches. It is estimated that
they are about 650 Gorillas left in the world, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences of a life time. Tracking can take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorilla families. Later leave for Lake Bunyonyi, the third deepest lake in the world where dinner and home to the Batwa people, the
pygmies. Overnight at Ha’Buharo Island’s Heritage Lodge.

Day 13: Have an extra time to explore the park.

Day 14: Leave early in the morning back to Kampla with stop over en route at the equator or Museum
